We are using the same plugin (Loco Translate) to translate the string. So, it shouldn't behave differently on your side.
Please remove all the files inside product-variant-table-for-woocommerce > languages > (all the .po/.pot files)
Then translate again it like the screencast. If it is not working. Please give us temporary admin access to your site. So that we can investigate it further. You can securely provide site details by clicking this: https://paste.pics/Q3WA2
