One of the prominent goals of PVT (Product Variation Table for WooCommerce) is to boost the carting experience for WooCommerce Variable Products. To solidify this goal, PVT PRO offers several options that deal with WooCommerce Variable Products’ Add to Cart. Use the following resource to properly understand and utilize features like Quick Cart, Archive Cart, and the absolute game-changer, Bulk Cart.
Product Variation Table (PVT) PRO – Cart Options

Quick Cart Settings
Under Quick Cart settings, there is a single option called Quick Cart.

As the name suggests, Quick Cart allows your customers to enjoy instant carting. Check the box to enable the option. Then click on the Save Settings button. Now, your customers can update their cart (add or remove variations) only by updating (increasing or decreasing) the item quantity.

Note: We don’t recommend using Quick Cart and Bulk Cart options together; they have a high potential to confuse your customers. When Quick Cart is enabled, updating the quantity field will automatically add or remove an item (product variation) to/from the cart. Bulk Cart will also become active, and clicking on it will re-add those items (variations) to the cart. Additionally, when you select Checkbox from Bulk Selection Layout, the input value is set to 0. Thus, the Checkbox layout becomes inefficient.
Archive Cart Settings
Under the Archive Cart Settings, there is also a single option called Archive Cart. This option allows you to view your product variation table right on shop or category archives. As a result, customers should be able to purchase their desired variation right from the shop or archive pages.

Click the checkbox, then Save Settings to enable Archive Cart. Now, when customers click the Select options button on shop or archive pages, PVT will display the variable table in a pop-up.

What can customers do on the pop-up variation table?
They can do everything that they could on the product details page. They can check available items (variations) and directly add desired variations to the cart right from the shop/archive pages.

Bulk Cart Settings
Bulk Cart allows you to add multiple items (product variations) to the cart in a single click. Under the Bulk Cart Settings, there are several options. Let’s start with a list, then we will go into the details.

PVT Cart Options – Options Under Bulk Cart Settings
Bulk Cart
When you enable Bulk Cart, your customers can add multiple items (variations) to the cart simultaneously. WooCommerce does not allow carting multiple variations at once. You must select and add variations to the cart individually. PVT’s Bulk Cart offers an out-of-the-box solution for purchasing multiple variations of a WooCommerce Variable Product simultaneously.
Bulk Selection Layout
You can control how your customers select their desired items (variations) from the product variation table. To ensure the best user experience, there are two layout selection choices.
Checkbox
The Checkbox layout is a marvelous option, letting your customers quickly add their desired items (variations) to the cart in just a single click. If you select the Checkbox layout, PVT will add small checkboxes on each row of the variation table, including the table header.
By clicking on the table header checkbox, your customers can select/unselect all variations. On the contrary, they can choose their desired items from the table using the checkbox on each row.
When you select the Checkbox layout, the quantity option is set to 1 by default. As a result, customers can purchase multiple variations in just a few clicks.

Quantity
In contrast to the Checkbox layout, the Quantity option offers a different user experience. If you select the Quantity option, items (variations) are added to the cart when their quantity is updated. By default, the quantity is set to 0. Increasing the quantity adds the item (variation) to the cart, and decreasing the quantity to 0 removes it. Finally, clicking the Bulk Cart button adds all items (selected variations) to the cart.

Bulk Button Position
Enabling the Bulk Cart adds the bulk cart button under the bottom-right side of your product variation table. You can tweak this default position. The available options are:
- Bottom of the table
- Top of the table
- Both on the top and the bottom of the table
As the option says, you can place the bulk cart button at the top or bottom of your variation table. Moreover, you can choose to place the bulk cart button both at the top and bottom of your variation table.

Bulk Button Appearance
Yes, you can customize the Bulk Cart Button Appearance too. The button appearance comes with three options:
- Both Icon and Text
- Text
- Icon
By default, the Bulk Cart appears with both a cart icon and bulk cart text. You can replace the default with bulk cart text or the cart icon.

Pre-Selected Variations
When you enable the Pre-Selected Variations option, all variations of your product variation table come as selected by default. As a result, customers can Add to Cart all items using the bulk cart button.
If customers don’t want to purchase all variations, they can uncheck the items before clicking on the blk cart button.

Bulk Cart Note
Enable this option to display a hint of how the Bulk Cart feature works. Since Bulk Cart is not a common behavior, a hint will help customers quickly understand how to utilize it.
Bulk Cart Message
When you enable Bulk Cart Note, PVT shows a hint by default. You can customize or translate the text that will best address your customers. Add your custom text, removing the default, and Save Settings.

Variation Info
Enabling Variation Info will insert the total number of selected items (variations) and the price inside the bulk cart button. It helps eliminate confusion by adding these additional details.
